OUR HISTORY
The Glen Forrest Cricket Club has a rich history,
being one of the oldest cricket clubs in the state.
The Glen Forrest Cricket Club was originally formed in 1903 as Smith's Mill Cricket Club.
The Cricket club was renamed Glen Forrest in 1915 when Smith’s Mill’s local residents petitioned to change the area's name to honour Sir John Forrest, first Premier of Western Australia.

In the 1987/88 season Glen Forrest made their first grand final. Going down to Darlington by 3 wickets.
In the 92/93 season Glen Forrest broke their drought, winning the first premiership. Defeating Darlington by 1 wicket.
After being promoted to A grade, Glen Forrest made it back to back, winning another premiership against Darlington by 11 runs.
In the 96/97 grand final Glen Forrest defeated Darlington by 121 runs.
In the 1998/99 season Glen Forrest won the A grade and B grade Premiership.
After moving into the Swan and Helena Districts Cricket Association, Glen Forrest defeated Darlington in the 07/08 1st grade grand final by 107 runs.
In the same season Glen Forrest’s one day A grade also defeated Darlington, winning by 37 runs.
In 2010/11 Glen Forrest defeated Darlington by 23 runs in the one day A division.
In the 16/17 season Glen Forrest defeating Forrestfield by 3 wickets, before moving into the Perth Swan Cricket Association for the 19/20 season.
In 2022 Glen Forrest fielded their first ever women’s team in the Perth Scorchers Women's League.
In their inaugural year, the Glen Forrest Women’s team went on to win the premiership. Defeating Swan Valley by 7 wickets.
